Paul oversees our team and every ZMA project by combining his construction experience with his passion for design, and high attention to every detail in order to deliver bespoke luxury developments across the UK.

Paul’s on-site knowledge and entrepreneurial drive is a unique asset within ZMA which has enabled a winning combination to achieve the best possible solutions for our sites, buildings, and clients.

Paul is passionate about all aspects of property and executing schemes to the highest possible quality without compromise. His exceptional eye for detail is what makes ZMA’s unique designs have an extraordinary quality and magic and is why our clients choose to work with us.

Paul grew up in Burnley, and started his career working with his father whilst still at school from the age of 12. Starting as a labourer, and then moving to brick-laying, he worked his way up the construction ladder, discovering that his attention to detail and obsession with quality, led to constant improvement and development of his skills.

He then chose to specialise in stone, working as a stone-mason and designing, constructing, and restoring prestigious private homes, manor houses, castles, and heritage schemes in the UK and overseas.

Paul’s constant drive for development, and growth has accelerated ZMA to achieve in 6 years, what most practices don’t achieve in 20 years. Paul’s business awareness, and market understanding ensures we maximise the site value and development potential for every project in relation to the client’s aspirations.

Paul’s involvement in each ZMA project commences from the first enquiry meeting, and continues through the life-cycle of the project. Including working with the architect’s to develop the initial design concepts, developing the design particularly in terms of how the building will look, the overall aesthetic, architectural style, and materials. On selected projects, Paul will also oversee and Project Manage the construction stage providing additional support to our clients when required.

Aside from ZMA, Paul is also the Director of Northern Capital, which is a luxury residential development company, he is a highly skilled home chef inspired by his Italian heritage, who loves cooking for and spending time with his family and daughter Aurelia.
